Why use an agency?
Working with an agency to find a new job or temporary assignments has both pluses and minuses to consider. Ideally, the time an applicant spends in the registration process, testing, and interview with Mr. Fusilier will enable both parties to understand what to expect from one another to save time and energy.
We can provide candidates with resume suggestions designed to compete effectively, interviewing tips and questions to ask, software recommendations, and job-hunting strategies. Also, we generally have a good understanding of the client culture, the position, salary, benefits, and other very important information to provide you prior to the interview. Our goal is to provide each candidate with tools and information necessary to make a good impression, for the candidate and for us!
Mr. Fusilier’s broad network of clients, with a focus on placing the right candidate in the right job, can allow a candidate to be presented for a position or assignment that otherwise might not have occurred. His clients trust him to do a good job in sourcing candidates who might “fit the bill”, saving the client time and money. Likewise, a candidate will only be sent to interview for positions that he/she is most likely qualified for and be interested in.
And, it is the policy of Fusilier Business Services to inform the candidate when their resume is being submitted to a client firm. We never “blanket” submit a candidate’s resume to multiple companies, which is generally considered poor business practice.
Keep in mind that once Fusilier Business Services submits your resume to a client, the client probably has a contractual obligation to consider you only as a referral from our company, for a period of time, and through no other resource. This is standard industry practice, and an important rule to consider when working with staffing firms.
And unfortunately, we don’t place everyone we meet, but we do our best to assist you in whatever way that we can!
