David Fusilier first began his career as a staffing recruiter in 1993 in Atlanta, Georgia, specializing in the placement of professional medical support staff in private doctors’ offices, physician groups, private laboratories, and medical support vendors.
Early in his career, the importance of excellent customer service to clients, and respect for applicants, was instilled into him as the benchmark for success.
Client companies were contacted regularly to keep in touch, but not so much as to become an annoyance. Job orders were taken seriously, and every attempt to understand the clients’ needs was undertaken. Rapid response with only the most qualified candidates was the goal.
Candidates were treated with respect and courtesy from first contact. Telephone screening, initial registration, appropriate testing, and one-on-one personal interviews were standard procedures. Candidates were communicated with in an honest and open manner.
David relocated to San Francisco in 1995. He joined a small local staffing agency, and began providing staffing services to law firms and legal departments in the Bay Area. He was fortunate enough to build working relationships with several of San Francisco’s premier law firms and their respective staffing managers. Those managers provided the guidance and advice necessary to understand the nature of law firm staffing. Those lessons enabled him to expand his client relationships to numerous law firms, legal departments, and non-legal clients which have continued to this day.
After working for only two staffing service companies over 14 years, David Fusilier opened his own staffing and business consulting service in San Francisco in January 2010, Fusilier Business Services.
